Meet Kady

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Kady. I am a master’s level Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Empowering Hope. It is an honor for me to take this journey with you. Helping people heal so that they can live empowered lives is my greatest passion. I work with individuals, couples, and families and welcome people from all walks of life. Some of my areas of specialty are communication and relationship patterns, attachment wounds, trauma work, anxiety and stress, burn-out, and self- esteem and body image.

I believe that profound healing happens when our pain and suffering is met with love and acceptance rather than judgment. For many of us, patterns of dysfunction originate not from within us but from relational wounds or events that taught us to believe untrue stories about ourselves. I utilize a whole-person approach, meaning we will focus not only on the mind but also the body. When the mind and body work in unison, difficult experiences can more easily be moved through and processed. Together, we will explore the past and present and create goals for the future.

Whether you are coming as an individual, a couple, or a family to do relational work, my utmost goal is to help you reconnect with yourself and those around you. My aim is to empower you to map your own healing journey, help you discover your strengths, and confront difficulties so that when our time together is over, you have additional tools to help you face life’s challenges and opportunities.

I am working under the direct supervision of Rachel Berglund, LMFT.
